Portalea was known for his unique and very personal way of approaching sequences with great 'cadence.'
This workshop will cover : Musical interpretation - remarkable back and forth movements - rhythmic and subtle footwork - for a deeply expressive and connected dance.

7:45 p.m. - 9 p.m. / Tours of the legendary milonguero: Carlos Moyano
Moyano was nicknamed 'Trompito' (the spinning top).
Watching him perform his tours was mesmerizing.
To achieve this level of excellence, this workshop will explore the axis, the spiral and circularity for turns and counter-turns with natural continuity and fluidity.

Focus: Body control, axis, spiral and projection.
Content & Practical Work: Controlled pivots and twists. Precise weight transfer. Integration of technique with musicality and style.

2:30 PM - 3:45 PM / MILONGA in the style of the legendary milonguero: Jose Lampazo
This Milonga master will inspire us to dance with playfulness!
Short combinations for the social dance with elements such as: lateral movements, choice of traspié and pauses.
Using the closed and semi-closed embrace as an element of creativity and playfulness.
